This is for measuring the abrasion resistance of low voltage wire for automobile.

Both ends of the sample are fixed and the sample is contacted with the standard abrasion tape(whose pitch is 150mm) with conductive coating st intervals of 10mm. When film of the wire is worn out, the buzzer sounds and the tape stops.

The length of the tape is read by the counter and this becomes the abrasion resistance value.
